Matthew Galvin has been dedicated to the sourcing of obscure and undervalued assets in the challenging real estate industry since 1994. He identifies non-performing and underperforming commercial and residential developments for his clients. Mr. Galvin strives to identify and acquire undervalued assets to create a value added financial and shareholder experience for each of his clients.
Prior to working with Denenberg Realty Advisors, Matthew worked at Blue Asset Management. He specialized in the acquisition of distressed CRE, CMBS and CDOs. He also represented a Direct Special Servicing Unit of a six billion dollar fund in New York City and performed domestic and foreign loan acquisitions.
Mr. Galvin worked at Janco Development and acquired 1.32 million square feet of office and retail assets by identifying and implementing strategies to add to their investment objective. He reviewed and analyzed all acquisitions, dispositions and strategic decisions. He oversaw all leasing activity and reviewed and analyzed all appraisals for each property. Matthew excels at honing in on the needs of his clients helping them find the ideal asset for their project, development, portfolio or business.
Mr. Matthew Galvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. He also served in the United States Navy and Navy Reserve.
